This ambidextrous rapper out of Canada brings a very much needed spark to the hip-hop world and the dude is nice. He'll give you a bar and a note in the same song. This is one of those times when the hype is right, he's earning his acclaim so far.

VA Says Whaddup Back

I've been getting alotta positive feedback and responses on the blog, in particular from VA vets(shouts to Illseed). The Kid Daytona ~"A TRibe Called Fresh Mixtape"~

I stumbled across this cat while waiting in the barbershop to get a lil edge-up, he was featured in GIANT Magazine. What caught my eye was the title of his mixtape "A Tribe Called Fresh". Basically its a modern rehash of some of the songs from my favorite group of all time, ATCQ. He goes off their classic beats with a modern twist. I'm downloading that jank as I type. I felt like I had the key to the city with the media pass, I was running all over the place...backstage, frontstage, floor, balcony - People really get paid to do that one specific job?? I need to get on THAT! lol
There was a whole range of people there, from masters of the ghetto lifestyle to white, american eagle wearing college kids. The third balcony musta been the designated "Weed Zone", people were rolling up like that was the theme of the show. All in all, I'd definitely do that again, eff my foot.
